No forty-page spec. You show us the work, we show you software.
We start from how the work gets done today and build from there, in small steps you can see and try.
Step by step
-
Show us the process
We sit with the people who do the work: the office, the field, whoever touches it. We look at the spreadsheets, the paper and the workarounds, and write down what the tool has to do, in plain language.
What we need from you
An hour, the files you use now, and the person who knows how it really works.
-
Try a prototype
We build a first version you can click through, with your kind of data in it. You react to something real instead of a document, and we change it until it fits.
What we need from you
Use it, poke holes in it, tell us what's wrong. Being blunt saves time.
-
Launch it
We set it up, bring your existing data over and get your team using it. We stay close for the questions that only come up once people use it every day.
What we need from you
Time to switch over, and someone on your side people can ask first.
-
Keep improving
Businesses change. When yours does, the tool changes with it. A new field, a new report, a new step in the process: small requests stay small.
What we need from you
Tell us when something gets in the way. That's the next thing we fix.
Working with us
What it's like, from the first conversation on.
You talk to the people building it
No account managers in between. The person you explain it to is the person who builds it.
Plain language
No jargon in the meetings or in the software. If a button needs explaining, the button is wrong.
Your process, not ours
We don't make your business fit a product. The tool takes the shape of how you already work, minus the workarounds.
Small steps you can see
You see working software early and often, not a big reveal at the end.
Questions
The ones that come up in almost every first conversation.
Do we need to know exactly what we want?
No. Most projects start with “this part of our week is a mess.” Working out what the tool should be is our job.
Can it work with the tools we already use?
Often, yes. If a tool you rely on can connect to other software, we'll connect it. If it can't, we'll tell you plainly.
Is it worth it for something small?
Some of the most useful tools are small: one form, one report, one automation that saves the same twenty minutes every day.
Who will we be working with?
The people who build the software. You talk to us directly, start to finish.
What happens to the data we already have?
It comes with you. Spreadsheets, exports and old systems: moving what you have into the new tool is part of launching it.
Can our team use it on their phones?
Yes. What we build works on a phone, and when the work happens in the field we can build a proper app for it.
Do we have to change how we work?
Only the parts you want to. We build around the way you work now and take out the copying and chasing in between.
What if our process changes later?
Then the tool changes too. That's the point of having something built for you: small changes stay small.
Start with one label
Tell us what's slowing your business down. A sentence is enough; we'll reply by email.
